Philip Morley began his career in woodworking at a young age in London, England. While attending trade school, he was formally trained in carpentry. He eventually ventured into furniture making and never looked back. Besides his schooling, Philip held several multi-year apprenticeships before starting his own company. Nowadays, Philip is a contributing author for Fine Woodworking Magazine and enjoys teaching through his YouTube channel and at the Austin School of Furniture and Design. 

His style is modern with a hint of mid-century flair and has produced hundreds of custom pieces as well as several catalog items such as the Morley Rocker and Morley Lounge chair.
